It's around this time of year many folks are talking about new year's resolutions. Here are some of my thoughts:
To write often
To be direct in my writing
To be gentle and nurturing with my body
To write an explanation of tensegrity in the human body
To share my practice
To communicate with other people through online community-building
Well there's a pretty good start to the list. Last item: bight off small chunks and get small wins. Build momentum.
Check out my recent post, recorded on New Year's Day. I can check off four, maybe five of my above list just by sharing this post. I hope you find inspiration!
Just continuing to share my personal practice, nothing too specific to say about this handstand (aside from noting the gorgeous scenery!). Building on the theme of gratitude, I will say that my body seems to be much more highly capable of learning complex movements and coordination than I am. And thank goodness too, cause I can so easily get in the way of my own progress. Also a big thanks to @nutritiousmovement for all your inspirational posts about getting outside and moving together with family. Such a beautiful and healthy way to bond with loved ones. I was able to do quite a bit of that this holiday season, and I'm so thankful! #gratitude #nutritiousmovement #movementculture #handstand #outdoors #familyfun
